Building on the success of its previous two editions, Art Stage Singapore 2013 created a show to fulfill its vision and mission,  and position Singapore as the centre of the Asia Pacific art region.

WE ARE ASIA – The international art fair offering the best quality Asian and Southeast Asian art

Lorenzo Rudolf founder of Art Stage Singapore, and former Director of Art Basel and SH Contemporary, launched Art Stage Singapore in 2010 to promote and drive Asia’s art market and give the region a voice in the art world and a platform to become a competitive player on the global stage. The fair also played a vital role in supporting the Asian art industry, bringing the West to Asia and showcasing the region’s best established, and emerging, artistic talents.

Art Stage Singapore has become Asia’s premier international contemporary art fair. The fair has a strong Southeast Asian focus, and comprises of a large Gallery section, a Project Stage section for emerging Asian artists, and the Singapore Platform, which showcases some of the best and most interesting Singaporean artists.

In its 2013 edition, Art Stage will also introduce numerous new initiatives including the highly anticipated Indonesian Pavilion, and Art Stage+, the first virtual fair in Asia. There will also be a series of educational programmes, such as talks and discussions with thought leaders and industry professionals, throughout the fair period.
