The National Sculpture Prize presents a rare opportunity for artists. With a brief to inspire ambition and experimentation, the Prize not only provides funding for ten sculptors to realise their proposals, but includes the curatorial support and enthusiasm of the whole team at Broomhill.” Kate Jago,  2012 NSP Judge and editor of Proof Magazine

Ten emerging, UK-based sculptors selected by a top judging panel have been given the challenge of exhibiting in the National Sculpture Prize Exhibition, in a bid to win the 2013 NSP title. Each of the ten finalists have a £1,000 budget and three months to turn their proposed idea into an inspiring finished piece for the Summer Exhibition. The final ten sculptures will be on display at Broomhill from 1st June, throughout the Summer.

The judging panel for 2013 includes celebrated sculptor Julian Wild; Director of Castle Fine Arts Foundry, Chris Butler; Chief Executive of North Devon Theatres Trust, Alan Giddings and Broomhill owners, Rinus & Aniet Van de Sande.
