Born in 1932; 1953 - 1959 student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow;
1966 - 1967 US Department of State scholarship, Pratt Institute, Brooklyn,
New York; 1972–1977 Vice-President of ICOGRADA, 1978 - 2000
Member of XYLON; 1981 and 1984 Visiting Professor, Sydney College
of the Arts, Sydney; 1985 - 1989 Chair of the Organizing Committee,
International Print Biennial, Krakow; 1985 - 1987 Dean, Industrial Design
Faculty, AFA, Krakow; 1987 - 1990 Vice-Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts, Krakow; 1989 Full Professor; 1991 Visiting Professor, University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT (USA); 2002 Full Member of the Polish Academy of Arts and Science; he won 78 prizes and awards at national and international graphic art and drawing exhibitions; his works are in 70 permanent Museum Collections; he organised 78 one-man exhibition in Poland and abroad.
