He was born 2 September 1958 in Steszew. In 1982-1987 he studied
at PWSSP (National University of Art) in Poznan. He graduated with honors in the field of technical graphics. His supervisor was prof. Tadeusz Jackowski from ‘Pracownia technik metalowych’ (Metal techniques division). In 1987-1989 he worked at this division as a laboratory assistant. In 1989 he was employed as an assistant in the same department. In 2001, together with prof. T. Jackowski he organized ‘Pracownia Druku Wkleslego’ (Intaglio division) at Art Institute (Art Department of Zielonogórski University). Currently, he holds classes of Intaglio division and Drawing with elements of anatomy division for the first year students. He also teaches drawing and drawing with elements of anatomy extramural students. Since October 2005 he has been a director of studies of the Graphics Department at Zielonogórski University’s Art Institute. In November 2005 he was employed as an associate professor at Art Institute. Since February 2006 he has performed the duties of a director of Pracownia Technik Plastycznych (Metal techniques division) at Poznan’s Academy of Art’s Graphics Department.
