He was born 9 March 1954 in Skarzysko-Kamienna. He graduated from Arts Department of UMCS in Lublin (1974-1978). His supervisor was
prof.Danuta Kolwzan-Nowicka(Graphics Division). He spent one year on a placement in prof.R.Artymowski’s Litography Division and prof. M.Rojewski’s Graphics Division at Arts Academy in Warsaw.Since 1979 he has been working at Graphics Division (Litography) of Arts Department,
UMCS in Lublin. In May 1994 he defended a registration and
conferment procedure for a professor at Graphics Department of Arts
Academy in Cracow. Since 2000, as an associate professor he has been managing Design Graphics and Litography Department of IWA at UMCS in Lublin. In his artistic work he mainly deals with litography, computer graphics and drawing. He has taken part in over 160 collective exhibitions in Poland as well as abroad: Brasil, Chile, Spain, Estonia, Netherlands, Japan, Germany, Romania, Corea, Sweden, United State of America and Hungary.
