Born on 18.03.1960 in Lublin. Graduated from the Institute of Art Education at the Maria Curie – Sklodowska University in Lublin. Obtained diploma cum laude from the painting studio of Prof. Marian Stelmasik
in 1998 and doctorate in the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw 2000. The artist is a lecturer in the Graphics Technique Department in the Institute of Art Education at the Maria Curie – Sklodowska Univesity in Lublin. In 1990 Krzysztof Szymanowicz has been a member of the Union of Polish Artists. Since 1990 he was Vice – President of the Lublin District of Union of Polish Artists and in 2002 he became the
President of the Lublin District of Union. He has been practicing graphics,
painting and drawing, he uses the graphics technique of linocut.
Organized 11 individual exhibitions, He participated in 250 collective
exhibitions in the country and abroad.
He works won many awards, among others: Distinction – 8 th Gielniak
