He was born 04.06.1954 in Jaroslaw. He graduated from Graphics Department of Warsaw’s Arts Academy in 1979. He has got a diplomma from prof. Maciej Urbaniec’s Graphics Design Division, and an annexe from prof. Jerzy Tchórzewski’s Painting and Drawing Division. Since 1980 he has taken part in as many as 22 individual exhibitions. He took part in 100 collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad, in openair international performances and after-open-air exhibitions. He was awarded many times: 1993 an award in I Polish Contemporary Drawing Triennale, Museum, Lubaczów, 2000 – Special Prize VI International Arts Triennale at Majdanek, Lublin, 2002- an award at IV Polish Contemporary Drawing Triennale, Lublin, 2003 – an award from ZPAP (Society of Polish Artists ) – IV Art Triennale at Majdanek, Lublin, 2004 – an award from the president of Rzeszów Work of the Year’04, 2006
– III International Drawing Competition Wroclaw 2006. In 1980 and 1986 he got a scholarship from the minister of Arts and Culture. He is currently working as a lecturer at Arts Department of UMCS Lublin.
