Carrousel du Louvre
Paris, France
7-11 November 2018

Created in 2017 by the organizers of the Salon du Dessin and in association with Paris Tableau, Fine Arts Paris is a specialist art fair dedicated to the Fine Arts from Antiquity to today.

Following the success of its first edition which was held last year at the Palais Brongniart, Fine Arts Paris is leaving the Place de la Bourse to set up in the Carrousel du Louvre.

Now located right next to great Parisian museums, Fine Arts Paris is in a unique and prestigious location that allows it to host about forty international galleries, the great diversity of which is equaled only by their high quality.

Dedicated to drawing, painting and sculpture, Fine Arts Paris is continuing in its desire to promote the influence of Paris as a stronghold of the global art market with the works selected by its exhibitors and a dense programme of cultural events comprising a museum exhibition within the Fair, a study morning around a scholarly publication, and a Sculpture Week organized in association with about twenty institutions and museums in the Île-de-France region.

New this year:

Fine arts Paris is demonstrating its cultural commitment by creating Sculpture Week, an off-site event for art encounters in partnership with major museums, including the Louvre, Petit Palais, Centre Pompidou, Musée Zadkine, Musée Bourdelle, Musée Rodin and Musée Maillol…

The cultural program will be supplemented by a museum exhibition entitled Sculptors as Painters/Painters as Sculptors: the Case of Henry de Triqueti, produced in partnership with the Musée des Beaux-arts of Orléans and the Musée Girodet of Montargis. a scholarly publication, “The Triumph of Sculpture: 1850-1880”, will be presented at the Petit Palais on 7 November during a day of symposiums.
